Northwest Offset Printing in the Spokane Valley expands its regional and national presence after moving to a new factory in 19223 E. Euclid. The company, which is owned by Cowles Publishing Co., prints the Spokesman Review and the Journal of Business, among others. (May 20, 2021) Etailz announced plans to move to a 40,000-square-foot space at 2818 N. Sullivan Road in the Spokane Valley in July, as the company expanded from its current 10,000-square-foot space with 210 employees. (2018, March 29). A Birkenstock retail store is planned for retail space at 13826 E. Indian Avenue, near the Spokane Valley Mall. The City has issued a building permit for a 2,000-square-foot store that will be renovated to open next year.
Birkenstock operates 54 proprietary markets worldwide, including three in the United States. (14. November 2021) Spokane Metals, a steel processing company, will move its operations from Airway Heights to Spokane Valley later this year. The Company will build a $2.4 million facility at 4100 N. Barker Road in the growing industrial area of the northeast Spokane Valley. The company cited the fact that most of its employees live in the valley as a factor in the decision to move. (March 9, 2019) A new brewery is being developed in the Spokane Valley. YaYa Brewing Company will open a tasting room at 11712 E. Montgomery Drive in 2019.
The brewery`s slogan is “Craft beers brewed with character and integrity”. (January 4, 2019) The new ponderosa Village business development at 11205 E. Dishman Mica Road in the southern Spokane Valley recently welcomed two new tenants. The Mix Salon and Day Spa, as well as the Hello Sugar Donut Shop (a second location next to the first Hello Sugar at Kendall Yards, Spokane) celebrated their grand openings in early July. The development will be anchored by Barney`s Harvest Foods and will include two more multi-tenant properties over the next three years. (July 31, 2019) Airgas, a distributor of industrial, medical and special gases, welding and safety products, has submitted permits to construct a 9,700-square-foot building near the southwest corner of Fancher Road and Desmet Avenue. Airgas has a dry ice warehouse near spokane Industrial Park, but its nearest branch is in Moses Lake. (January 3, 2020) Stay Alfred, a vacation rental company, plans to occupy 37,500 square feet of space in the former Itron Inc. headquarters complex at 2818 N Sullivan Road.

August 2018) Amy`s Donuts, a national donut chain that serves unique creations, celebrated the opening of its first donut store in the Spokane Valley (and the first in Washington State) with a grand opening on November 1. The store is located at 11519 E. Sprague Ave. and serves a selection of sublime cakes and donuts with tasty edibles like cereals, swamp fluffy, nuts, gummy bears and chocolate candies. (November 1, 2018) Spokane Valley-based Etailz secured $25 million in debt financing to develop new products, expand inventory and expand retail partnerships. The new round of funding will specifically allow the Spokane Valley-based company, which works with third-party vendors, to grow its brands on Amazon, eBay and Walmart, improve its proprietary software that detects product trends, identifies new distributors and optimizes pricing positioning decisions. (February 21, 2020) A new business focused on changing dog behavior is planned in 166414 E. Sprague Avenue. The company, Dogology NW/Unleashed Academy, has submitted a pre-development application to build a 10,500-square-foot training center for service dogs, autism, therapy, and emotional support dogs. The development is estimated at US$1.5 million.
(Jan. 9, 2022) Novelis Inc., an Atlanta-based aluminum rolling and recycling company, plans to expand its Solatens Technology Center in the Spokane Valley to $5 million and 11,780 square feet. The company moved to its current facility at 16004 E. Euclid Ave in 2011. Not a word about if or how many additional employees the extension can generate. (November 2019) Coast Aluminum and Architectural Inc., a California-based company, has moved into its new 73,500-square-foot distribution warehouse and added 3,200 square feet of office space to pinecroft Business Park in the Spokane Valley. Coast Aluminum manufactures metal and alloy products. (January 2021) Seattle-based Leavitt Capital Companies is building the Montgomery Logistics Center on a nine-acre property in the Spokane Valley. The center is a multi-phase industrial development located at 11002 E. Montgomery Drive, which will include three buildings with a total area of more than 139,000 square feet. The new development will be adjacent to Leavitt Capital`s 50-acre central Business Park, home to Pepsi Co., Cascade Seed and Wolff Corporate Housing.
(June 16, 2019) Walk In Chiropractic adds a new location at 328 N. Sullivan Road in the Spokane Valley. The company currently operates in Billings, Mont., Coeur d`Alene, Bozeman and Spokane. The new location is scheduled to open in 2019. (January 4, 2019) A PODS warehouse is planned at 6636 N Barker Road in the north-east industrial area of the city. The permit application includes the construction of a $5 million structure of 139,000 square feet. This would be the third podS location in the region. (November 2021) Burlington submitted preliminary plans to open a retail store in the Spokane Valley at 15505 E. .
